Accomplishments 2014-15

• Initiated a Photo Contest
• Initiated Winter Postcard as added communication to members
• Initiated 4 newsletters per year, one each season, vice 3 as in the past
• Hosting/Organizing the All Candidates Meeting prior to the 2014 Municipal Election
• First Annual Potluck Picnic in August 2014 at Centennial Park
• Beautification of Centennial Park (lilac trees)
• Installation of second Life Preserver Ring at Big Bay
• Continued promotion of “Pop Tabs for Wheelchairs”, collected at Big Bay Store
• Continued promotion of “Pop Cans for Shriners”, collected at Keith Davidson’s residence
• Kept members informed on Lakefront living issues and Wildlife issues:  racoon distemper; phragmites; water levels; etc.
• Kept members informed on local issues: Suicide Hill and Dodd’s “W” Hill closures; Biodigester; Airport; etc
• Attended many municipal meetings to keep up-to-date and represent neighbourhood interests
