• Installation of first Life Preserver Ring at Big Bay 2013
• Mail-in ballot for municipal elections since 2006
• Flag pole and benches at Big Bay Dock 2005
• Flag pole at Kemble Ball Park
• Sponsorship of magazine subscriptions at libraries in Wiarton and Owen Sound – “Cottage Life”
• Donations to MRI Fund; Wiarton and Inter County Fire Departments for defibrillators
• Roadside beautification program (flower boxes) and Canada Day Flag Contest
• Notice Board at Big Bay Store (in season)
• Neighbourhood Watch Program since 2005
• The currently discontinued Adopt-a-Road Program (picking up debris and keeping ditches clean)
• Instigating change to area garbage day pickup from Fridays to Mondays
• “Longest Yard Sale” along Island View Drive and Presqu’ile Road held first weekend in June
• Initiated petition in 1975 to get Island View Drive paved
