In order to involve more IVDAARA members in our organization we
have created three ad hoc committees. Each of these committees will recommend to the Board of Directors any actions that they think the Board of Directors should initiate and champion on behalf of our organization.

The three committees are:

  • Political Ad Hoc Committee
  • Environmental Ad Hoc Committee
  • Social Ad Hoc Committee

Deer Hunting Season starts

DEER HUNTING SEASON HAS BEGUN as of November 7, 2016. It continues through November 12, 2016.

Just because you’re walking along a road or on public/private trails does not mean there might not hunters in the area/vicinity. Please use extra caution … particularly near dawn and dusk; wear bright colours and pay attention to your surroundings.

Deer Hunting Season:   November 7, 2016 to November 12, 2016 and December 5, 2016 to December 10, 2016

Hunters:  Please refer to the Hunting Regulations at www.Ontario.ca/hunting for all official regulations and safety precautions.

Georgian Bluffs meeting CANCELLED October 6

Comprehensive Zoning By-law
Open House & Public Meeting

The Township of Georgian Bluffs hereby cancels the Comprehensive Zoning By-law Open House scheduled for Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 7 p.m. and the Public Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 7 p.m.
These meetings were previously advertised in the Wiarton Echo and Owen Sound Sun-Times.

Further public meetings regarding the proposed updates to the Township’s Comprehensive Zoning By-law will be scheduled in due course. Interested parties should contact the Clerk, Matt Smith, at msmith@georgianbluffs.on.ca or 519.376.2729 ext 249to request notifications regarding these meetings.
