Just because you’re walking along a road or on public/private trails does not mean there might not hunters in the area/vicinity. Please use extra caution … particularly near dawn and dusk; wear bright colours and pay attention to your surroundings.

WILD TURKEY HUNTING SEASON has begun as of October 11, 2016. It continues through October 23, 2016.
All walkers, hikers, bike riders and the general public should be aware of the hunting seasons within our area. Especially if you are out on trails, in wooded areas, or even walking along country roads adjacent to woodlands. Be aware, use extra caution, wear bright coloured clothing or hats.
